Beer collaboration celebrates new musical from Wales Millennium Centre
Wales Millennium Centre has joined up with Glamorgan Brewing Company to release a special ale for its most significant production to date, Tiger Bay The Musical
The beer is a limited-edition version of the Llantrisant based brewery’s popular Welsh Pale Ale and if buying it just for the novelty isn’t enough, all the proceeds from each purchase will go back into Wales Millennium Centre to help continue raising aspirations and providing world-class opportunities for the arts.
Richard Anstee, Managing Director from Glamorgan Brewery said: “As a proud Welsh business we are delighted to be working with the Centre to spread the word of Tiger Bay The Musical which is steeped in Welsh heritage to an audience who may not necessarily be your typical musical goer.
“We decided to donate the proceeds back to the Centre as not many people might know it to be a charity. We want to help raise awareness of the work they do and to make a contribution to make sure they can continue to keep producing shows like Tiger Bay The Musical.”
Owain Taylor-Shaw, Head of Business Development at Wales Millennium Centre, said: “The support shown from the business community in Wales for our most important production yet has been staggering. It really highlights both the strength of the charitable work we do and the level of support from businesses.

The limited-edition Tiger Bay The Musical ale will be available everywhere from the Celtic Manor Hotel to Flatholme Island, including Cardiff’s The Exchange Hotel, the Pencelli Hotel in Treorchy and selected Morrisons, Co-operative and Lidl stores across South Wales.
