I was in Ponty’s Big Weekend when I head about the death of Amy Winehouse. She was definitely a person who polarized opinion whether that’s about her personal life or music. She’s the newest member of the 27 Club – the list of musicians who died when they were 27.

The list includes, Brian Jones, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain. If you want to learn more of this list, check out the Wikipedia entry

The main thing with this last performance is that Dionne Bromfield also performed this song at Ponty’s Big Weekend – Just shortly after the news started to spread on twitter – quite amazing if you ask me.
