Possibly one of the greatest hours of music we’ve had. 8am to 9am this morning was all about Welsh anthems – Manics, Catatonia, Stereophonics, Kids in Glass Houses, Feeder, and not forgetting Tom Jones. Why? Well, 9am a certain big game kicked off in New Zealand. Now at the time of writing this blog (10am), I don’t know the result… so let’s just carry on and not think too much.

Film wise we checked out “A Dolphin Tale” and Anna Farris in “What’s my number”

We’ll upload the cinema reviews for you to listen to at anytime in the next seven days. That’s later on (watching rugby now)

And musically, just an awesome show (as usual);

Catatonia-International Velvet
Take That-Greatest Day
Stereophonics-More life in a tramp’s vest
Charlotte Church-Crazy Chick
Manics Street Preachers-Everything must go
Sak Noel-Loca people
Robbie Williams-Millenium
Feeder-Buck Rogers
Kids in Glass Houses-Undercover lover
Tom Jones-Delilah
Cerys & Space-Ballad of Tom Jones
Dan Hartman-I can dream about you
Mary J Blige-Family Affair
Blondie-One way or another
Beats International-Dub be good to me
Chris Brown-She ain’t you
Joe Espirito-You’re the best around
Vanessa Amorosi-Absololutly everybody
Everything but the girl-Missing
Giorgo Moroder & Phil Oakey-Together in Electric Dreams
Kylie Minogue-On a night like this

Next Saturday we may just be talking about Wales in the final of the RWC… or the third place game. I can you this though, we’ll be looking at Footloose and Three Musketeers plus talking with the stars of both films.

Next Saturday morning, 8am on BRO Radio Bring the Noise

EDIT: The game finished 9-8 France winning… Sam Warburton being sent off for a “dangerous” tackle. C’est la vie huh – as they say in Penarth…
